Pocket Clipper: Analog Soft Clipper [Ableton Live 10+]
Pocket Clipper is an Ableton live rack designed to emulate the warmth and richness of analog soft clipping, right in your DAW.
Pocket Clipper has 8 adjustable parameter, however in most scenarios Pocket Clipper will work out of the box.
• Drive - Adjust the drive knob on the saturator to give your sound grit and edge.
• Character (Char) - Adjust the gain on the limiter to give your sound color.
• Release - Adjust release on the limiter, longer times give a "fluffier" sound.
• Threshold (Thresh) - Adjust the threshold on the compressor.
• Peaks - Adjust the character of the transients.
• Damp - Soften the higher frequencies.
• Pedal - Add distortion and color via the pedal.
• Wet/Dry - Adjust the amount of the Pocket Clipper that is mixed in with the dry signal.
Requirements:
• Ableton Live Suite 10 or above.
How to install:
Simply drag the .adg file from explorer into your "user library" folder in Ableton.
Troubleshooting (Please Read):
If you are receiving any errors upon importing the rack, ensure your copy of Ableton Live is updated to the latest version, then test it again. If you still are receiving an error feel free to contact me.
